i will miss these students


Quote of the week while getting students to sign up for English oral exams.

Student (in French): "Excuse me, I'm doing my presentation with Mlle H* next week. Can I sign up now with you instead?".
Me: "First of all, that's me. Secondly, presentations and oral exams are two different things."
Student: *blank stare*

All of the other students were in fits of laughter.

Guess that's what I get for letting these students call me "Shannon" for 2 years.
